What Type Of Jellyfish Did I see?

They can see what i type in but i can not see what they type in what can i do to fix this problem?

  I often experience the same problem. When I am on IM, I don't see the letters, sometimes, I see vertical lines for every letter I type, but when I click "send', it shows in the message window. There are times that I can't see anything (message sent or the reply). I tell my friend in jest that we seem to run out of ink and that I will have to log off to refill my pen. I would log off from my Yahoo Messenger and ALT/CTRL/DEL my YM sign in page -- a couple of times. When I sign back in.....the problem has been fixed.
