Why can't I get a photo to show in my yahoo instant messenger box?

I deleted my old photo's in my display box in my yahoo instant messenger and now I'm having problems with displaying my new photos. I've tried several different photos, but nothing will show up. They'll load in there but not show on my messenger box. I have no problem with them in other messenger sites, so it's not the photos. Can some one help me?

yahoo is no longer uploading photos, you should have been sent an email telling you that..........
