Why won't Windows Live Messenger sign me in?

My Windows Live Messenger won't let me sign in?

• I can't sign in Windows Live Messnger, it doesn't even have a pop-up troubleshooter dialog box....so I tried this method: In Internet Explorer, click Tools and then click Internet Options. In the Internet Options dialog box, go to the Connections tab. Click LAN Settings… Untick the Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN connections) checkbox. Click OK and OK again Internet Options And it said it was unable to connect: 80072efd And than it said to do this: Click on the Start menu, select Run and type the following: regsvr32 Dssenh.dll Gpkcsp.dll Slbcsp.dll Sccbase.dll I did it and I still can't sign in, and my internet doesn't have the proxy thing and I checked the firewalls too....ANYONE HELP?   Sometimes it happens that even I cannot log into my MSN Messenger account due to a termporary system problem. Try to wait for about an hour, and check back on it later again. Or: here's what else you can do: Try to completely uninstall Windows Live ( all the windows live programs you have - unless you have a Windows Live-based photo-sharing program as well (that one you can keep), and go back to the official website of Windows Live Messenger. After you have uninstalled the progi, :) go to the website of MSN and download the 8.5 version. That's the one I'm using still. Windows Live 2009 has a lot of vulnerabilities, it often freezes, and signs you out after a few minutes of use, (and won't let you re-sign in later on.
