Why can't I install Yahoo messenger into computer?

When I try to download Yahoo Messenger I cant get it to install on my computer?

Do you have too much in your programs?? why don't you go to "add or remove programs", to see if you do, your memory might be too full. You can also try cleaning up your disk, then defragmenting it; go to "start", "programs", "accessories", then to "system tools", clean, then defragment your disk. Also another thing, make sure that on the Internet Explorer page, your "history" is all cleaned & cleared up, log-off, then restart your computer, then go to the internet Explorer page, type Yahoo Messenger in your address bar, then try to download & install it.
