How come my yahoo messenger won't sign me in?

How come My Yahoo Instant Messenger Won't let me sign on... My internet is fine but it wont let me in....?

My yahoo messenger won't let me sing on it doesnt pop up a message saying to Try again or anything it just attempts tosign in and fails... my screen name and password are correct.. and yeah.. It does the same when my friend tried to log on on my computer as well... It would be nice to know whats wrong with it... or preferably how i can fix it...

Because the servers are apparently down for an upgrade. I suggest everyone complain to [email protected] as they REALLY need to post a "SYSTEM STATUS" page so we can know WTF is going on.

The Messenger system is down and some say it is because of planned upgrades. It might be related to the test they are running to connection to MSN messenger.
