Why cannot I connect to Yahoo Mail from Yahoo Messenger?

Why can't I connect to Yahoo Mail and/or Messenger?

  • Ok.. Here's the deal.. My internet works smoothly.. But then lately.. NO ONE can connect to their Yahoo Messengers nor their Yahoo Mail.. So what's the deal? Are your servers having a problem? If they are, then why not post out a notice saying so?

  • Answer:

    Log out of everything, and shut down all internet windows, go to control panel, uninstall/remove programs, choose messenger. re-download it and install it again

Seems to me there has been a LOT of difficulty using Yahoo mail lately. Can you say "hotmail"?

I can't sign in either..uninstalled and re-installed and still nothing. I am on the Canadian version of yahoo as well, and its not helping - lol... guess we all just wait.

mabye their systems so messed up,they cant post an announcement?dunno...im sure they'll fix it by the end of the day^-^just read what people are postin till then...kinda fun! "we fired our guns and the british kept a comin,there wasnt about as many as there was a while ago,we fired once more and they began to runnin,down the missisippi to the gulf of mexico!"no offense to the british.
