Why is yahoo messenger acting like this and how can I fix it?

Is yahoo messenger working for you?

  • ever since yesterday,yahoo.com and messenger has been acting screwy. deja vu anyone? besides re installing it, anyone got a fix?

nothing you can do really,they are working on it,my kids can log in,but me and my friends have been down since last night,the only thing i can think to do is reinstall the old version to see if that helps any.gl,let me know if you try it and it helps.ty.

The server went down yesterday. Today it is under repairs & will be a bit clichy.

Most likely a glitch in the Yahoo system. No way to fix it at our end. So you'll have to be patient with them til they get it back up. Though I have a friend on or at least they were on 30 minutes ago.
