Just because it has the voice/phone call feature doesn't mean you have to use it All yahoo messengers for the last 7 years have had a voice option the newest one is like a phone call and its totally free PC to PC

they all come with voice. it still works like the old one where you type and you dont have to use voice function. that is an extra option.

Yaar... so sweet question... Yahoo! new version of messenger is yahoo messenger with voice. it has come with new features just the difference is u can call to other computer and enhanced with good quality of sound for voice chat... trust me messenger with voice will not kill ur sweet voice ok na

These days only messengers with Voice are out. The only option is to download one with Voice and use it without ever Voice chatting with anyone. Plus, its not like its charging you extra money or something.
