How do I delete the whole message archive on the Mac Yahoo Messenger?

In yahoo messenger my MESSAGE ARCHIVE has gone while i did not delete any of my message archives.howcome ???

  Did you recently update your Yahoo service? I know I did. If you cannot retrieve your message archive try using the System Restore feature. It will show you a calendar of significant events that have effected your computer in the last 120 days or so. The biggest changes will be the dates you see in boldface type. Point your mouse on each significant date starting with the approximate month and date you noticed the change in your computers behavior, Scan over each date with your mouse. It will let you know if an automatic update was done, or a significant event occurred. If you select a day and date that is highlighted with bold lettering and is around the time your archives began to disappear click on that date and your PC will restore itself to how it was working on that day. You will not lose any data or saves documents past that day, only certain updates which might have occurred if you are set to auto update. It has worked for me every time including major crashes and major errors I created myself. It acts as a band-aid or and entire roll of guaze. Marvelous!!!!
