How do I change my yahoo instant messenger password,or do i have to change the password for yahoo itself how?

you have to change your original password by going into your yahoo account and change it then rember to check your emails cuz it will send you a message about it being changed and give you the new one so if you don't want your boyfriend to find the email you will have to erase the email.
