Can I log in MSN messenger with yahoo id?

Unable to log into Yahoo Messenger even with Correct ID and Password?

I am able to log into my Yahoo email account and check My Yahoo page. But when I go to use the Yahoo Messenger it will not let me log in. It tells me I have an invalid id or password. I have already uninstalled messenger twice and reinstalled it. But it still will not let me log in. I can however use the Yahoo Beta, but that has an old picture and I like the Yahoo Messenger better. How do I fix this problem?

I have a problem signing into Yahoo messenger, I was [email protected] on the regular yahoo then I got Verizon internet service and I signed into verizon as raberrylady2 and they had verizon yahoo so I was [email protected] when I desided to give up Verizon internet service I couldn't get into the yahoo at all I did change my screen name to [email protected] and I can get into MY Yahoo and every thing but the nessenger Sincerely Margaret Snook
