Can you reactivate your account?

I canceled my account 2 days ago, can anybody help me on how to reactivate it before final deletion occurs?

• Hi everybody! 48 hours ago I canceled a Yahoo user account with the hope that I could reactivate it anytime before the 90 days´ period especified before definitive elimination had expired, now I want to recover some info stored in it and can´t find the option or procedure in Yahoo to reactivate the account, it is a registered one in yahoo.com.ar (Argentina). Could you please give me some advice on how to proceed? Many thanks in advance for your time and help. Luis

  if by cancelled you mean deleted ...... then definite elimination has already taken place. You cannot retrieve your info back if you have deleted a main account. Once you hit “delete” on a primary account it is GONE for good. In most cases your account will be deactivated and then deleted from the user registration database in approximately 90 days. This delay is necessary to discourage users from engaging in fraudulent activity. Additionally, due to the limited number of names available, Yahoo may allow other users to sign up for and use your current Yahoo! ID and profile names after your account has been deleted. This info, and it is only If you have deleted a main/primary account your account info, is held only as a mechanism to stop others and you from making the account again, and cannot be retrieved. Sometimes it can be remade after that time period but RARELY, depending on the ID .. (RARELY = USUALLY MEANS NEVER) When we click that we accept Yahoo's terms of service we accept the fact that Yahoo owns all these IDs , and can do with them as they please, not us.
