How do I send email from my yahoo account to a mobile cell phone?

• I had a weird Yahoo Messenger incident. A friend on my list sent me a weird IM. On my list, she was offline. Now I know you can send someone a message while having an offline status. It didn't seem normal, so I closed it. I was sent another and closed it again. I later sent her an email stating the time of the IM and asked her if she sent it. She said no, that she was in another state and had only signed in on her cell phone. She also said that she noticed strange people on her list that she didn't have. She even said a strange person sent her an IM from a stranger saying that my friend sent her a virus. Does anyone know what this could be? Could she have a virus, or some other malicious issue with her account or what?

  there are quite a few worms that target yahoo messenger at the moment, most will send out random IM's to your friends with urls, or change your current status message along with a clickable url, you will need to clearly identify which one you have acquired, deleting your yahoo id and/or uninstalling yahoo messenger wont address the problem as it's the PC that's infected not the ID. It's quite a mission to work out what you are infected with as currently installed virus scanners are often a target (being disabled by the worm) so a clean bill of health from your antivirus program might in fact be incorrect. If you suspect this is the case online scanner (temporarily disable your currently installed one first though)...
