How do I find a friend on Yahoo messenger?

Hi. I am on Yahoo Messenger. I need to find out my Messenger password to send to a friend.?

This sounds like a dumb question, but I'm not sure how to find the code to give people I want to chat with, so they can identify me when I'm on line. Is it something like "[email protected]", or what? Again, sorry for the dumb question. I'm sure it isn't simply my yahoo e-mail address. I just want to find it, and know what it is for all time. Thanks, anyone who can help, and I apoligize for the really dumb question. Dave

No all you have to do is to add them to your list by on the messenger click add contact. Then when they are online you send them a message that it is you and add you to there. Until then on your list it will stay add request pending. Hope I helped.
