How do I sign out of Yahoo messenger?

How do i sign into yahoo messenger?

• When i first made my yahoo answers account it said i can use any yahoo product online with my yahoo answers srcreen name but it wont let me sign in yahoo messenger how do i sign into yahoo messenger.also do i have to type in @yahoo.com in front of my screen name when i sign into yahoo messenger?.......plz help?!?!?!

  If you are talking about the nickname or display name that you can show, the only place you can use your Yahoo Answers nickname or display name is on Yahoo Answers. Except if you choose the option to use your regular Yahoo! Profile display name then you will have it there too. You cannot sign in to Yahoo Messenger with that. But you can with the Yahoo ID that you use to actually sign into Yahoo Answers. You would not use the @yahoo.com to sign into Yahoo Messenger. If you are using the same Yahoo ID and password that you used to sign into Yahoo Answers then it should work in Yahoo Messenger. SIGN-IN PROBLEMS WITH YAHOO MESSENGER If this is the first time that you have had the problem first try exiting Y!M by right clicking the Yahoo! icon by your clock and choosing exit. Then relaunch Y!M and try again. If you still have problems reboot your computer. Some of these issues just work themselves out after a certain amount of time but if you have tried rebooting and you do not want to wait then read below.
