I have installed yahoo messenger i can log into my mail but i cant log into yahoo...it says please try later.?

Number 1 - do you have more than one messenger and yahoo account, if you do, when logging into messenger, do not check remember my id and password, cause it will not work. Try that if that doesn't work, when the window pops up again, it also should say new account, click on that and set up your messenger account, it something new they just came out with, it is a pain in the butt. That should work, if it doesn't work the first time you login, hit retry, and try it again, sometimes it takes a couple of times, delete your id and password and retype it, you might of typed it wrong. Give it a try. Good luck Just read further, the eyes are tired. Anyways you have more than one account, you have to log out and log in to each seperate account. That is the only way that works, also check your yahoo account, in the right hand column at the bottom, there is an area that says manage links, see if that helps, if nothing else works, just remember, when logging in and out, do not have them save your name or password, cause it won't let you, it will give you grief every time. I know cause I had 3 accounts, and I am now down to 1.

You could consider uninstalling your current Yahoo! Messenger and download from http://www.filehippo.com/download_yahoo_messenger/?1596. The latest version is Yahoo! Messenger 8.0.0.716. You could also find a list of previous versions for you to choose.
