My yahoo messager password doesn't work, but my yahoo email password does work?

I have tried to sign in to yahoo messager but the password doesn't work. But I am able to use my yahoo email account with same password without any problems.

try to change your master password in my account , the one you use to log into yahoo, and messenger will follow. or you must sign in to yahoo chat with same id like mail account
