I am having problems in logging in and also cant remove profiles folder after uninstallation of yahoo msgr?

I am having problem with logging in to yahoo messenger. So I deleted yahoo messenger and re-installed messenger.. still its not working.i cant delete yahoo profiles folder.. i want a solution to delete that folder.
Answer:

Install Yahoo messenger again and try this option. Start messenger, click on connection preferences. chose option "Firewall with no proxies" try again. --x-- if that does not work, then uninstall (NOT DELETE) the software. Then go to c:\program files\ and delete Yahoo. If it does not delete. Then restart your computer in safe mode WITHOUT NETWORK SUPPORT and delete that folder.
