Msn Messenger Contact?

I don't want my msn account to appear in my friends' yahoo messenger contact list. what can I do?

• since a few days my msn account appears in my friends' yahoo! messenger contact list together with my yahoo account. I haven't changed any setting either on msn or yahoo, so this has happened without any reason. besides, one of my friends sees my msn account associated with a name which I know is the name of one of my friends, not in my yahoo messenger contacts. I know it's weird and even hard to explain. I'll try to be more clear: on my friends' YM contact list I used to appear as, let's say, "[email protected]". Since a few days besides this account some of them also see "[email protected]" and one of them even as "X-John [email protected]". Can anyone help me? Thanks.

  If you're the type that wants to be left alone, like me. you have to go to these sites and your Profile pages and be sure your settings are correct. For me, that me and everything is set to No One, which means that's who I want to get updates and/or share information with; No One! There's really no way to stay off of these lists, as they don't require your approval, so the best thing you can do (I think) is to keep your information personal. That's how I handle it, anyway.
