Can we shift our yahoo answers id to someother yahoo id when we wish to delete yahoo account?

i wanted to delete my yahoo account.in yahoo answers i'm in second level & doesnot wish to lose yahoo answers account.but i must delete my yahoo account.now i wish to know whether i could delete my yahoo account without losing my account in yahoo answers.can i shift my yahoo answers id to my new yahoo account?if yes,plz tell me how to do that.and also plz tell me whether we could hide our gmail profile as we can do on yahoo profiles.plz answer soon and in detail.its somehow urgent for me.i'm thanking everyone who answers my question.
