Why can't I view profiles using Messenger ?

I've had messenger for ages, although not used it recently. i downloaded the newest version and wanted to look at some old friends profiles. When i click on ' view profiles ' nothing happens. It used to be when I clicked on it a window popped up and on came the profile. This won't work with anyone, even in a chat room and with profiles I just clicked on to see if it worked. Instead, I've had to go into Yahoo and look in their member directory - which is a pain in the ***. I've checked all my preferences etc. Help - It used to work !

Have you gotten a new browser or toolbar that blocks pop ups? Try holding down the Ctrl button while the page should pop up.
