What happened to old yahoo chat rooms?

What happened to the texas chat rooms in yahoo chat?

  • I used yahoo chat but when you go to the romance rooms and location which always listed all the states. It seems to stop around ohio...and any states listed after that are gone

    I have no idea. They're all there for me, Texas included. You don't need the Yahoo! rooms list to join rooms. Whether you're using Yahoo! Messenger or chatting through your browser, you can join rooms by simply typing "/join Texas:1" ( minus the quotes, obviously ) in the SAME text box that you type in to chat in the main room. The same applies for any room. Examples. /join Love Stinks:13 /join Whipped Cream:23 There is also a /goto command, that will take you to any specified user, provided that the user is in chat with that particular screen name. Examples. /goto Medicated_Harmony /goto Blink182Sucks etc. For a more extensive list, type /help. Happy chatting. =]

the same happens to me sometimes dont worry there is nothing wrong .what happens is that sometimes the server is bussy .so all u have to do is wait a little so it gets less bussy .and try to open it again another reason is because ur using dial up .which is related to the same what happens is that when u go online all the programs which need to get update rush themself to check if there is any update . these programs are: spyware antivirus firewall and all this kind of things wait till they get what they need.
