Why is my messenger has a white screen?

Yahoo messenger with bt communicator will not start, only shows white screen. why?

  • i'm using windows xp pro.it did work a while ago but recently it just goes to a white screen, and never starts.if i go to close it, it tell me not responding then i have to restart computer to get it to go away all the way.
