Why do my archive messages not show up on Messenger?

Yahoo messenger won't show messages?

In my messenger, it won't show any of the messages. It won't show mine nor the other persons text or username. My archive isn't showing up either. I have tried reinstalling messenger 5 or 7 times and it's still not working. I found a similar question(http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=1006012618698) but didn't find anything that could help my situation. They suggested people could be typing in white, but i don't think everyone on my messenger list has white text. Another person suggested reinstalling Yahoo but i have tried that 5 or 6 times, with no luck. So can anyone help me? Thanks.

If reinstalling the messenger did not work for so many times, then there may be some problem with the operating system itself. Try fixing it first.
