How can I start web based Yahoo Messenger (without downloading)?

Does anyone know if there is a web version of yahoo messenger?

Scroll to the bottom of the page and above the copyright it has Yahoo Messenger:Home-Partners-Add Presence to Your Site-Launch Web Messenger-Security Updates. You just click on Launch Web Messenger and it should come up, you just need to make sure you have the Java software installed.
