How can i block yahoo messenger ID?

    if the messenger ID that you want to block is an ID from a friend or somebody, you can click on the messenger box, Preferences > Ignore List : click "Add" and enter the ID you want to block and click Ignore and then OK. *if that ID is on your messenger list and now you want to block, you have to delete it first from your messenger box and then put it in your ignore list the same process above i mentioned. First you have to delete the contact from your contact list, then (with that contact window open) click Actions -> Contact Options -> Ignore. When you click ignore, you can check report the contact as spam. That`s it

Click messenger top left in the mesenger window scroll down click preferences then scroll and click ignore list. In the next window you will see where to add people to your ignore list or you could check ignore anyone not on my friend's list. then click o.k
