If I delete my Yahoo account, does it delete my Messenger account as well?

  • I want to delete one of my Yahoo accounts because having a few is troublesome but the account I want to delete is connected to one of Messenger accounts. So if I delete my e-mail account, does it delete my Messenger one too?

    one account from yahoo is useable to any services inside of yahoo, so if you delete an account, it means, that account is no longer and cannot be accessed in any services of yahoo. just like failing to avail the service of yahoo messenger. and everything that the account had used for is no longer accessable.

Yes, it's your all-inclusive Yahoo! account that you'd be deleting, so you'd be deleting your access to ALL Yahoo! services, including Answers, Messenger & Mail.
