Your password is also associated with you email. The easiest way to stop using messenger is just to remove it from your pc. Click start lower left on your desktop. Click control panel.Next double click add remove programs. Scroll down and highlight Yahoo messenger. Click remove and follow the prompts.Do the same with any other Yahoo messenger applications in your program list.
