How do I remove my profile from someone else's friend list?

Is there any way to remove my name from someone elses buddy list?

• I heard there is a way I can remover MY name from SOMEONE ELSES buddy list so they can no longer see when I am online. I am being harrassed and want to remove my name from there list. any help please?

  I don't know of a software program that goes into someone ELSE'S computer but its legality might be suspect. You CAN control who sees you online, by using Stealth Settings. This means, however, that they have to remain either on your Buddy List OR in your Ignore List. Putting them on your Ignore List (Preferences -> Ignore List -> Add) is an easy way to do that. Now the person can no longer contact you. If for some reason, you still want to be able to see when THEY are online, you have to keep them on your buddy list but just make sure you always sign on as Invisible to Everyone and only make your "Available" status known to the friends you want to chat with. But this may be more trouble than it's worth. So yeah, put them on your ignore list. You won't have to think about it anymore. Just watch out for new Friend Requests, though...!
