How do I delete yahoo messenger but keep my yahoo?

Tell me how to delete yahoo messenger ( not uninstall) account but keep the same email adress remain?

  • i want to delete my masseger account stop all chatting but i love my id and my email adress . who can help me ?

    If u dont want to chat on messenger anymore, you can uninstall it and your yahoo ID and email will not be affected. If it were me, I'd just uninstall it.

go 2 add and remove in control panel and remove messenger.. you will still have your e-mail account..

just click start go to control panel then go to add or remove programs and find yahoo messenger and unistall it you can still keep your yahoo emails address and id
