How do I log in to Yahoo messenger?

How do you log in to My Yahoo and Messenger with different IDs?

I have one ID that I use for My Yahoo, and another ID that I use for Yahoo Messenger. When I log into Messenger, it automatically switches my My Yahoo page over to the Messenger ID. I have to log out of My Yahoo and then log back in with the correct ID. Is there a setting to avoid having to do this? Thanks!
Answer:

in your settings for messanger go to setup and make sure that any features such as 'automatic log in' are not set up and also that you do not use any automatic id (if it is setup this way you can undo it)
