How can I recover a password from yahoo messenger 8.0?

Here's the thing. My pc crashed on me, then got it fixed. I have my password saved on yahoo messenger 8.0. For some reason my password don't work when i try and type it out or paste it. I need to get my password that's saved in messenger? It's a cap id given to me so i don't have the dob, therefore forgot password would be no help. The password is in my registry, but i don't know how to get it. Basically i lost my own password and need it back, from my pc. Any help of will be greatly appreciated.
