Why won't AIM let me get a screen name?

Won't let me log into my AIM screen name?

  • When I press "Sign In" on my AIM window, it says "connection timed out" and it doesnt let me log in. what does this mean and how can i get it fixed so i can log in?

    Try restarting your computer. type in your user name and pass word again.

it just means you have been on the program of AIM for too long. go onto a different AIM website like www.meebo.com www.airaim.com www.koolim.com or you can just downlaod AIM

It means that your internet is not connecting to AIM therefore it will not start up or log you in. Make sure you plugs are all plugged in and your internet is connected properly. Can you get online? Then try uninstalling AIM and re installing it.

This has happened to me a lot. I hate when this happens. All you need to do is restart your computer. If that doesn't work, then go to the bottom toolbar, where the start menu is, go all the way to the right, and repair your internet connection. KK?

i think aim is down. my computer is doing it, and i can't sign up for a new name. i also can't use it on meebo. just wait it out, it'll be fine. c:

that happens to me sometimes and it is because my internet isnt strong enough so i just go to meebo.com or heyxd.com and sign on there
