How can I downgrade from Social Windows, live messenger?

My windows live messenger got deleted!!?

it wont work when ever i am trying to sign in, a message is popping up, and there is troubleshoot on it bar. and when i press on the troublrshoot, then another message pops up and there is a repair botton there, i press on the repair botton. and my windows live messenger still doesn't work. what should i do, i tried everything....i downloaded windows live messenger/repaired it over and over and still nothing happens. can you please help me. before this happened, i've doenloaded yahoo messenger, and a messade popped up(when i had my windows live messenger) saying/asking if i wanted to download the new virsion of windows live messenger. so i pressed yes, but in the middle---when it was downloading for some strange reason i pressed cancel. so from that time i couln't sign in windows live messenger.

you need to go to your add/remove and make sure everything is removed from there, then download it again
