How do I get my old contacts on yahoo messenger back?
-
I have had another ID and password several years ago on messenger. If I locate it and log on to Messenger will my old contacts appear or are they gone for good? Thanks.

Answer:
If you try to logging on the messenger with your old ID you could only see those contacts which were associated with the old ID and not the ones which are associated with the new one. But once you log back into the new Id you should be able to retrieve your new contacts back. There is a thing in Yahoo Messenger through which you can send your contacts to anybody on your Messenger list, so try sending it your old ID or vice versa so that you can have all your contacts under one single ID. Hope this helps...

Log and try out. Yahoo has an option. Go to options in mail Contacts Import-export Import from old account to new. Hope this works. I just did one.
