How do I modify my yahoo group's home page and add promote buttons?

How do I add a join this group link to my home page? As owner I want to approve members. Can I ask questions?

• I've seen 'join this group' buttons on other yahoo groups. How do I add that button? I would like membership applicants to answer some questions before I approve their membership. How can I include those questions in the membership request?

  the tab Join This Group is on every group, other than a closed membership group, non members can see it but members of the group wont; they're already members :) if you already have the membership set as restricted/ membership requires approval, and the 200 character message isn't enough or you want specific questions answers, you'd set up a text file in the file section, and select pending members as to when it goes out
