Soft Bouncing vs Hard Bouncing Email Addresses?
-
What's the difference between hard and soft bouncing emails? Do I delete the members who have soft bouncing as well as the hard bouncing messages?
-
Answer:
Soft bouncing means it's sending back a non-permanent error, like mailbox full. Hard bouncing means it's a permanent error, like the account no longer exists. You can see which error was received and make your decision based on that if you view the details of the bouncing.
