How do I change my name on yahoo?

How do I change my name in Yahoo! groups if changing my profile and/or account info makes no difference?

• I have tried every option to do this, but nothing works! I administer a Yahoo! group, and some of my users have asked how to change their details (basically, the information that comes up when they make a post on the group: "personal name", <email address>, profile/alias name. The bit people want to change is "personal name"). I thought I would check this myself, and have hit a brick wall. If I go into my profile page and change my name there, it makes no difference to the name that appears in quotes above (I have changed this name, then posted - no effect). If I go to my account details page, and change the details there, this also has no effect on the name that appears (I have changed this name, then posted - no effect). I have been told to go into mail>options and change the settings there, but I have not signed up to a Yahoo! email account and so I can't even get to a mail options page without taking an email address I don't want (and I assume that it wouldn't therefore be taking information from an account that doesn't exist). I've also tried changing my profile name AND account info at the same time - again, no effect. I am completely stumped what else to do - there seem to be no further options pages, and nothing seems to affect anything else. The only thing I can think of is that I post using an alias (confusingly referred to in some places as a "profile" as well), and it is this that is causing the problem. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be very grateful!

  To make changes to your old profile information go to: http://manage.members.yahoo.com/YAHOOUSE... Replace "YAHOOUSERID" in the URL above with the Yahoo! ID you wish to view. This will pull up old the profile page for the Yahoo! ID you entered. If it is your Yahoo! ID, and you are logged in using that ID, you will be able to make edits to your old profile information.
