If I 'post' a message in Yahoo! Groups 'TO:' a specific person, will it be displayed publicly in the group?
-
I found an e-mail address for a person I'd like to contact in a Yahoo! Groups post. But it only shows "firstname@" and then gives you the option to e-mail them through the yahoo groups page. (This person is not actually in the yahoo group, just this link to their e-mail is). I'm afraid if I e-mail through this method it'll end up posting publicly in the group. Will it e-mail like regular e-mail to the address it links to?

Answer:
posting through the group, if you look at that send to field, the only address with be that person, or the group. as long as it has "firstname@" it will only go to that person and not first through the group- remember a copy is not saved in this manner of what you sent
