It's very simple! Sign in with that ID and password, then go to this page: http://groups.yahoo.com/memwiz and let Yahoo help locate your groups. Have a great day!

Hi Pram, Your question is too complicated to be answered at Yahoo Answers. You need a forum that allows others to ask you additional questions. Try instead one of the Groups available at: http://tech.dir.groups.yahoo.com/dir/Computers___Internet/Cyberculture/Virtual_Communities/Yahoo!_Groups or http://moderators.groups.yahoo.com/

You can contact Yahoo Staff by using the Yahoo Groups Help Form. Here is a link to it. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/original/general.html?from_url=http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/original/members/web/web-203933.html Complete each question. On #7, Use the drop-down arrow and select "Other". Then state your problem in #8 . Scroll down to bottom and click on Send. If not answered by a human in a timely manner or are not satisfied with answer, keep REPLYING to their responses until you catch someone's attention and get resolution of the problem. (By replying to their responses, this will keep all of your correspondence in the same string so the staff can refer to it and you will not have to keep repeating yourself.)

you can try the help form but according to many, Yahoo does not do much about this. the previous ID is probably bouncing in that group- creating a new same ID probably wouldn't help, or we all could look for bouncing owners and create their same ID and gain ownership. if they still even had the info about that deacticated account, you'd have to have password and secret answer/ zip code in order for them to do anything. I douby they'll delete any of this groups with out proof you are the owner- not having an active account attached tho that group. sorry Help form http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/general.html?from_url=http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/original/members/privacy/privacy-04.html
