In Yahoo Groups, how can you update a file yet maintain its URL so that links to that file remain sound?
-
The value of a Yahoo Group depends in part upon the ability to inter-link files within that group. Yet I believe that there is currently no way to 'update' a file such that its URL remains the same. This means that you would need to update all links to a file each time you made a change to it. Not good. Is there a way to update a file yet maintain its URL?

Answer:
if you created a text file, you could add and edit it without changing a thing. uploaded files are different than thest files and to add and edit, you'd need to re-upload it again, changing the URL. that's kind of how it works.
