How do I get people to Know about my Yahoo group?

I started a group and i only have one other person in that group and I invited her. My group is about cats. I don't even know what all is possible to do in a group. I have pictures and a front page thing. I logged out of my Yahoo and tried to find it but I could not find it. How do you get people to notice it? You can promote/ advertise your group at: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/AdBay/ It now has only 49 members but it is growing... http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Group-Invites/ This group has 3631 members... http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Group-Promotions/ This group has 6631 members. http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/GroupsSearch/ This group has 95 members but it is growing... There are also other ad groups that you can join which are listed in these groups...

Tell everybody you know about your group and ask them to join it. Add a signature line on your email and put the link to your group in it. There are a lot of Yahoo groups that are for promoting/advertising groups. Here is a link to one that has over 6000 members. Try joining that group and advertising your group there. I love cats too!
