Remove an expired yahoo account from a yahoo group?
-
Many years ago, I joined a region-centric yahoo group using a yahoo account and forwarded group emails to a different (work-related) email account. The old yahoo account has long since expired. I would like to remove myself from the region-centric yahoo group but I cannot log-in to the yahoo group using the old yahoo account and hence cannot remove myself and the mail forwarding. [Note]: I tried creating a new yahoo account but the new account is not linked to the old one and I cannot delete a "different" user from the group. Any help?

Answer:
only thing you can do is e-mail the owner and ask them to remove that old ID from the membership.
