Are Yahoo Groups names unique?

In Yahoo Groups, Can I add peoples names to their profiles in my group?

  • I am a moderator. When I add new members, I am able to also add their name. A previous moderator did not do this step. We have members that we are unable to identify by their email. We are a school group and need to remove people when they no longer attend the school so having the names would be very helpful.

    This is more of a question, as I'm wondering how to do this also. I just started a group so I am the moderator. What is the step necessary to do this? Good luck with having your question answered also.
