Why am I unable to open attachments or links?

Why aren't there links for the attachments in group messages?

  • I was able to open attachments up until June. Suddenly, all the attachments are text only, outlined in a box. I can't click on them or download them. If this is a result of the new attachments system, how come I was still able to open attachments in June? And shouldn't they still be linked regardless? Is there an easy way to access these files?

    hello could be the result of a few things. maybe you changed your mail to plain text? more likely it was the new attachment changes. did the check the groups settings on the home page to see where attachtments are stored. chances are, they are stored on the group and depending on which format of mail you get, you may not get the embedded link to open as you are use to. roger

depends on where you're seeing this, in your mail or on the group. the owner can select to distribute to the group home page, or e-mail but cant do both. so where ever you're seeing this, you'll have to go to the opposite to view attachments
