How do I get people to join my Yahoo group?

Hey everyone who has made a yahoo group and alot of people joined it how did u get all the people to join, because i just made a new group and I wanna get the word around so lots of people could join, please help!
Answer:

First make your site look sharp. Choose custom colors a good photo and welcoming message. Click edit beside description on your cover page then scroll down and you will find where to do all that. Send an email to all your friends and relatives with the URL pasted in explaining the group and inviting them to join and asking them to forward the message to their friends and relatives asking the same. It takes a long time to build a good group, So good luck.
