Do You Remember how yahoo groups use to have the chat feature..well..here is my question...pls read on?

I am curious as to how i can get my group to have a group chat. I know we can use messenger such as windows or yahoo chat etc, but i am wondering if there is a way where i could make a personalised chat room just for my group without the interuption from outsiders..So could i go to a website and set up a chat room just for us??..Any ideas would be muchly appreciated.
