How do I delete a group I own, but of which I am no longer a member?
-
I created a group a long time ago: SXShipyard. I was the owner and moderator. I was trying to delete the group, and ended up leaving the rgoup instead. Now the group exists with no moderator. How do I delete it?

Answer:
You`ll have to have a moderator reactivate your membership. Then give you access to managment to delete group. Another way is inform Yahoo to delete it for you. If you are the group owner or a moderator with the necessary privileges to delete a group, you will see the link to delete a group in the lower right hand corner of the "Management" page. Important: Deleting a group is permanent! Proceed with caution. If you click the Delete group button, you will remove the group from Yahoo! Groups, unsubscribe all members, and eliminate all archives, shared files, and calendars.
