How to merge one yahoo group with another yahoo group?

Must one have a Yahoo account to join a Yahoo group?

  • Hi, I've been on Yahoo groups for years and have a Yahoo account. I am in the process of establishing a Yahoo.Group for my kid's preschool. I was planning to have other parents email my group and then I'll add them. Do members of the group have to create a unique Yahoo account in order to join a list serve through Yahoo? I want to be able to instruct people about how it works. Thanks.

no, they can be e-mail members only but if they want to post from the group and access things like files and links, they'll need a Yahoo account. if you add members, they will only be e-mail members.
