What exactly can i do with Yahoo Groups?

If i join a Yahoo Group what can they do and what can i do? I have all my questions / answers set to private and i dont allow contacts because i prefer my questions to be unseen but will they be able to see them if i join the group?

Yahoo groups is where you join per category/ topic and like socialize that topic. if you have your Yahoo Answers set to private, and also use an alias, there's no worry about a Yahoo group member knowing it's you
